  • 1 medium head cabbage chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup cooked rice

Seasonings

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 cup shredded cheese your choice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
  • Stir in ground beef; cook until browned.
  • Add diced tomatoes, cooked rice, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper to the mixture.
  • Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring well to combine.
  • In a large baking dish, layer half of the chopped cabbage at the bottom.
  • Spread the beef mixture over the cabbage layer.
  • Top with the remaining cabbage and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender and the cheese is bubbly.
