  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently.
  • Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Pair with garlic bread, steamed broccoli, or Caesar salad for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. Reheat gently with a splash of cream or milk. Not suitable for freezing.
