Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Instructions
Step 1:
Preheat your sous vide water bath to 125°F (52°C).
Step 2:
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
Step 3:
Place each fillet in a vacuum-sealable bag with 1 tablespoon olive oil and a slice of lemon.
Step 4:
Seal the bags, ensuring there is no air left inside.
Step 5:
Submerge the bags in the preheated water bath and cook for 45 minutes.
Step 6:
Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, dill, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Mix well to create the dill sauce.
Step 7:
Once the salmon is done, remove the bags from the water bath and carefully take the salmon out.
Step 8:
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear each fillet for about 1 minute on each side for a lovely crust.
Step 9:
Serve the salmon with dill sauce drizzled on top or on the side.
